Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to sub divide and issue separate patta in petitioner's property in T.S.No.10/2 and 9/2 (new S.No.28/1A, 28/1A2A (old S.No.28, 28/1) to an extent of 1.03 acres at Thathampatti Village, Salem Taluk, Salem District based on the online applications dated 05.09.2024 and 08.11.2024 by appreciating the above stated facts. ORDER
Aggrieved by the fact that the petitioner's on-line applications dated 05.09.2024 and 08.11.2024, seeking sub division and patta transfer in respect of the property in T.S.No.10/2 and 9/2 (new S.No.28/1A, 28/1A2A (old S.No.28, 28/1) measuring 1.03 acres at Thathampatti Village, Salem Taluk, Salem District, have not been taken up for consideration to date, the petitioner is before this Court.

It is the case of the petitioner that he purchased the property, T.S.No.10/2 and 9/2 (new S.No.28/1A, 28/1A2A (old S.No.28, 28/1) measuring 1.03 acres at Thathampatti Village, Salem Taluk, Salem District, from one Lakshmi and 9 others for a valid sale consideration of Rs.10,25,000/- under a sale deed dated 29.11.2021 registered vide document No.4554 of 2022. Thereafter, the petitioner submitted on-line applications for the sub division of the property and patta transfer. However, no action has been taken to date. Aggrieved by this, the petitioner is before this Court. 2/4
3. Heard the learned counsels on the either side and perused the records.

Considering the fact that the petitioner's on-line applications dated 05.09.2024 and 08.11.2024 have not been considered to date, a mandamus is issued to the second respondent to consider the representation and pass orders on merits, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands allowed. No costs.
