This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 491 days in filing the above civil miscellaneous appeal against the judgment and decree dated 29.02.2024 made in M.C.O.P.No.126 of 2020 by the learned Subordinate Judge, Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Attur.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respective respondents.
3. The reasons adduced in the affidavit filed in support of this petition being satisfactory, this petition stands ordered and consequently, the delay of 491 days in filing the above appeal is condoned, subject to the condition that the petitioner will not be entitled to any interest for the delay period i.e., for 491 days, in the appeal.
4. Registry is directed to number the appeal, if it is otherwise in order and post the case for admission in due course.
