Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.11.2024 to provide electricity connection to the petitioner bore well situated in survey No.545/8B, Vankaranpudhur, Navani Panchayath, Namakkal District forthwith.

ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to consider his representation dated 21.11.2024 to provide electricity service connection to the petitioner's bore well situated in survey No.545/8B, Vankaranpudhur, Navani Panchayath, Namakkal District.
2. According to the petitioner, he applied for electricity service connection under self finance scheme on 21.01.2015 by paying initial amount of Rs.500/-. Subsequently, as per the communication received from the third respondent office dated 09.08.2023, the petitioner paid balance amount of Rs.49,500/- on 10.08.2023. Inspite of the same, the
service connection has not been effected to the petitioner. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 27.11.2024 seeking service connection and the same has not been considered. Hence, he has come before this Court.
3. Mr.S.Kalaiselvan, learned Standing Counsel, who takes notice for the respondents, would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered, subject to seniority.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner by relying on the communication from the Executive Engineer to the petitioner, dated 09.08.2023, would submit that the petitioner's application has already attained necessary seniority and then only the petitioner was directed to pay the balance amount, as per the above communication dated 09.08.2023 and the same was also paid by the petitioner.
5. In view of the above said submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and the respondents, this Court, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, is inclined to
direct the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 21.11.2024 and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
