This writ petition has been filed directing the respondents to consider petitioner's representation dated 29.09.2025 and grant 30 days of Ordinary leave without escort to the detenue S.Sridhar, S/o Sundaram, aged 55 years, Convict No.7721, confined at Central Prison, Puzhal - 1, Chennai-66.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and perused the materials placed on record.

Since this writ petition is filed for Mandamus simpliciter, to direct respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any view or opinion with regard to the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.09.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
