ORDER

Seeking to transfer H.M.O.P.No.289 of 2024 pending on the file of the Sub Ordinate Judge, Kancheepuram and to transfer the same to the file of VI Additional Principal Family Court, Chennai, the petitioner wife has preferred the above Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition. 1/5

2.The transfer has been sought on the following reasons:- a)The petitioner is residing at Kottur, Chennai and the respondent has filed the petition for divorce before the learned Subordinate Court, Kancheepuram.

b)Since the matter is pending before the Subordinate Court, Kancheepuram. petitioner has to travel all the way to Kancheepuram. c)The petitioner has filed H.M.O.P.No.5386 of 2024 on the file of the Principal Family Court, Chennai and M.C.No.656 of 2024 on the file VI Additional Family Court, Chennai, which clearly indicates that the respondent has not provided any maintenance to the petitioner. 3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the records. The respondent though served has not entered appearance. 4.In the light of the aforesaid reasons set out by the petitioner, her request for transfer appears to be reasonable. Therefore, the Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed and H.M.O.P.No.289 of 2024 is withdrawn from the file of the Sub Ordinate Judge, Kancheepuram and transferred to the file of the Principal Family Court, Chennai. 2/5

Consequently, M.C.No.656 of 2024 is withdrawn from the file VI Additional Family Court, Chennai and transferred to the file of the Principal Family Court, Chennai. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
