ORDER

This Criminal Revision Case has been filed to call for the records and set aside the conviction and sentence imposed in the Judgement dated 04.12.2024 passed by the 1st Additional District and Sessions Court, Namakkal in Crl.A.No.93 of 2023, by confirming the Judgement dated 05.04.2023 passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Namakkal in C.C.No.141 of 2020.

2. When the matter came up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in furtherance of the direction of this Court, they have entered into settlement before the Mediation Centre, Namakkal on 22.01.2026. He further submitted that the Petitioner/Accused had settled the issue with the Respondent/complainant which factum was also admitted by the learned counsel for the complainant.

3. For ready reference, the Mediation Agreement is extracted hereunder:

3. In view of the above position, this Court is permitting to compound the offence and the conviction and sentence imposed against the petitioner is set aside.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Revision case is disposed of in terms of the mediation agreement arrived between the parties and the mediation agreement shall form part of the order.
