ORDER

This Criminal Revision Petition has been filed to set aside the order passed by the Sessions Division of the Nilgiris District Court at Udhagamandalam in Crl.A.No.37/2024 dated 23.09.2024, which confirmed the

order dated 28.03.2024 made in S.T.C.No.28/2023 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Fast Track Court, Magistrate level at Coonoor.

2. Both side learned counsel present and they would submit that they have compromised the issue and also they have entered into a settlement agreement before the District Mediation Centre, Nilgiris, dated 13.03.2026. The terms of the compromise is scanned and reproduced hereunder:

3. In view of the above compromise, the petitioner is permitted to compound the offence with the respondent. Hence, the conviction and sentence imposed against the petitioner is set aside and the Criminal Revision Petition is disposed of in terms of the settlement agreement entered into between the parties and the same shall form part of this order.

4. The respondent is at liberty to withdraw the amount, which was already

deposited by the petitioner to the credit of S.T.C.No.28 of 2023 on the file of learned Judicial Magistrate, Fast Track Court, Coonoor by filing an appropriate application.

In view of the above development, this Criminal Revision Petition is disposed of.
