The prayer sought for in this Writ Petition challenging the order dated 06.02.2003 rejecting the petition submitted by the writ petitioner to remove the President of the Panchayat Union, Vazhavanthankuppam Village, Villupuram District. The term of the President and the other members have already been expired and now, the Panchayat Unions are administered by the Special Officers appointed by the Government pursuant to the Act. Hence, the prayer sought for as such cannot be considered. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed. No costs.
