ORDER
The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking a direction upon the respondents 2 and 4 to consider the representations dated 02.08.2023 and 27.10.2023 to enter the petitioner's son's name as 'C.Ranjith' in the name column and to change the petitioner's name as ''M.Chinnakali'' instead of ''Rajendiran'' in the birth certificate dated 30.06.2009 (Registration No.102/2009) and also to include the petitioner's son's name as C.Ranjith in Birth certificate and to issue a fresh Birth Certificate within a time frame fixed by this Court.
2. Mr.A.M.Ayyadurai, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. In view of the consent expressed by the learned counsel appearing of the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. Page No.2 of 6
3. The case of the petitioner is that he married one Poongkodi on 2001 and out of their wedlock, one daughter namely C.Renuka and one son namely C.Ranjith were born. When his son needed the birth certificate for his 10th Board Exam, the petitioner had approached the 2nd respondent and got the same, however in which the name of the petitioner's son was left blank and the petitioner's name was also wrongly mentioned as Rajendiran instead of M.Chinnakali. Therefore, on 02.08.2023, he approached the office of the 2nd respondent and made a representation to correct the above mistake and also sent a reminder dated 26.10.2023 before the respondents 1, 2 and 4. Since the same was not considered, the petitioner's son has made a representation dated 20.12.
2024 before the 2nd respondent, pursuant to which, 4th respondent has conducted an enquiry and submitted a report dated 06.01.2025. Subsequently, the 3rd respondent has passed an order dated 06.01.2025, directing the 2nd respondent to add the name of the petitioner's son as C.Ranjith in his birth certificate and to change the name of the father of the petitioner's son as M.Chinnakali in the place of Rajendiran. Thereafter, the 2nd respondent passed an order dated 23.01.2025 by entering the name of the petitioner's son as C.Ranjith in the birth certificate, however failed to change the petitioner's name. neither the petitioner's son was added nor the petitioner's name has been changed in the birth certificate of the petitioner's son. Therefore, left with no other alternative, the petitioner has filed this writ petition before this Court for appropriate orders.

Though very many grounds have been raised in this writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, it would suffice, if this Court issues a direction to the respondents 2 and 4 to consider the petitioner's representations dated 02.08.2023 and 27.10.2023, seeking to enter the petitioner's son's name as C.Ranjith and to change the petitioner's name as M.Chinnakali instead of Rajendiran in the birth certificate of the petitioner's son and also to issue a fresh birth certificate of the petitioner's son, within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents 2 and 4 to consider the petitioner's representations dated 02.08.2023 and 26.10.2023 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four (4) Page No.4 of 6
weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
