ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 to 4 to cancel the assignment patta granted to the respondents 5 to 10 for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, based on the petitioner's representations dated 22.05.2023 and 30.05.2025, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner claims that assignment patta granted in favour of the respondents 5 to 10 for the subject property is illegal, as she has been in possession of the subject property. The petitioner has sought for cancellation of assignment patta standing in the name of the respondents 5 to 10 by giving representations dated 22.05.2023 and 30.05.2025 to the official respondents. __________Page 2 of 5

Since her representations have not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. Mr.S.Arumugam, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4, and on instructions, he would submit that the District Revenue Officer has already forwarded the aforesaid representations of the petitioner to the fourth respondent.

4. Since no adverse orders are passed against the respondents 5 to 10, notice to the respondents 5 to 10 in this writ petition is dispensed with.

5. No prejudice will be caused to the fourth respondent, if the petitioner's aforesaid representations are considered on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections from the respondents 5 to 10 and any other party as the fourth respondent deems fit to enquire. Accordingly, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the aforesaid representations of the petitioner, directs the fourth respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on the aforesaid representations of the petitioner seeking for cancellation of assignment patta granted to the respondents 5 to 10 for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, after hearing the objections from the respondents 5 to 10 and any other party as the fourth respondent deems fit to enquire. the aforesaid exercise within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the aforesaid directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No Costs.
