This Application has been filed seeking extension of the mandate of Arbitration Proceedings in Arb. Case No.38 of 2018.
2. Heard Mr.E.Manoharan, learned counsel for the Applicant and Mr.K.Ramamoorthy, learned counsel for the respondents.
3. The learned counsel for the Applicant would submit that arguments already been concluded and what remains is only passing of the award. Further, he would also states that the learned counsel for the Applicant has also made a request before the learned Arbitrator for clarifying certain issues and the same may also be permitted. 4.The learned counsel for the respondents has also no serious objection for this Application being favourably considered.
5. I have gone through the submissions advanced on either side and also gone through the affidavit filed in support of the Application and I am satisfied with the reasons https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
assigned therein and there is no unreasonable delay on the part of the Arbitrator and the parties have also concluded elaborate trial and made their oral submissions.
6. In view of the above, this Application is ordered and accordingly, six months time is extended to complete the arbitration proceedings. 21-12-2024 rkp To
