ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondent police to file the final report in Cr.No.173 of 2025 (on the file of the Inspector of Police, Kadathur Police Station, Dharmapuri District) within the time frame.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though, based on the complaint given by the petitioner/de facto complainant, the respondent registered a case in Crime No.173 of 2025 against the accused, no final report has been filed till date. Hence, the present petition has been filed. 3.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that the investigation is in progress and respondent police will be able to file the final report within a period of five months. 4.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent. 5.

In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to file a final report in Crime No.173 of 2025 within a period of five months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, under due intimation to the de facto complainant. 2/4

With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
