PETITION under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorari to call for the records in G.O.(2D) No.30 on the file of the Secretary to Government, State of Tamil Nadu, Co-operation Food and Consumer Protection Department, Fort. St. George, Chennai-9 the first respondent herein and quash the order passed therein dated 06.03.1999.

ORDER

The relief sought for in this writ petition is challenging the Government order issued in G.O.(2D) No.30 dated 06.03.1999.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.

3. The Government Order impugned in this writ petition relates to implementation of the orders of the High Court, passed in W.P.No.9383 of 1985 and in C.A.No.127 of 1998 dated 07.09.1998. In the said Government Order the Government has extended the benefits granted in G.O.Ms.331 dated 05.12.1988, Salem District, Central Co-operative Bank, in favour of the erstwhile ad-hoc employees appointed in the Central Co-operative Bank, in accordance with the service rules. The ad-hoc employees engaged by the District Central Co-operative Bank, were all observed from Primary Agricultural Co-operative Banks to District Central Co-operative Bank, and they were all permanently absorbed. Secondly, in that, all of them were attained the age of superannuation or left the service on one ground or another. Such being the factum of this case, no further adjudication is required and consequently, the writ petition stands dismissed. However, no order as to costs. Sd/- Asst.Registrar /true copy/ Sub Asst.
