..Respondents PRAYER: This Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to the 1st respondent in his proceedings Na.Ka.No.689/2003 (Mines) dated 10.12.2003 published in Vellore District, Gazetted dated 11.12.2003 and to quash the same, and consequently extend the lease period in terms of Rule 8(8) of T.N.Mines and Mineral concession Rule 1959.

O R D E R
The present Writ Petition is filed to quash the order dated 10.12.2003 and for a consequential direction to extend the lease period in terms of Rule.8 (8) of Tamil Nadu Mines and Minerals Concessions Rules, 1959.
2.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents contended that the term of lease was from 01.01.1988 to 31.03.2002 and the Writ Petitioner was allowed to continue in that period. Further, pursuant to the interim order granted in W.P.M.P.No.9094 of 2002 in WP.No.6594/2002 dated 22.03.2002, the Writ petitioner had been permitted to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
quarry stones in respect of the lease area till 30.10.2003 beyond the original lease period and the extended period as per the interim order was also lapsed 13 years back.
