3. The petitioners are brothers. They claim their right based on an oral partition. Subsequently, patta was also granted in their name in Patta Nos.1047 and 1048. When the petitioners applied for a fresh Chitta during September'2024, they found that the entries made in the land records have been altered and the names of the petitioners were also removed without any notice and without conducting any enquiry. It is under these circumstances, the petitioner gave a representation to the respondents to conduct enquiry and to rectify the entries made and to restore the names of the petitioners in the revenue records. Since the same was not acted upon, the present writ petitions have been filed seeking for appropriate direction.
4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioners on 14.10.2024 after affording opportunity to all the interested parties and a final decision shall be taken on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/4
