ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to conduct enquiry based on the application submitted by the petitioner on 01.08.2025 and to direct the third respondent to conduct survey in the subject property.
2. Heard Mr.H.Rajasekar, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents.

The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner along with others jointly purchased the subject property through a sale deed dated 03.02.2006 registered as document No.385/2006 measuring an extent of 6.74 acres. Thereafter, a partition deed was executed among the parties through a partition deed dated 12.01.2015 registered as document No.133 of 2015. By virtue of the partition deed dated 12.01.2025, eastern side of 2/4
the land measuring an extent of 1.03 acres was allotted in favour of the petitioner. After the partition deed was executed, the petitioner approached the second respondent for survey of the land with the help of the third respondent and an application was submitted in this regard on 22.09.2025 along with prescribed fees. The grievance of the petitioner is that till date, survey has not been conducted. It is under these circumstances, the present writ petition has been filed seeking for the aforesaid relief.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to act upon the online application submitted by the petitioner and to conduct survey in the subject property based on the title documents. If there are any other interested parties, such survey shall be conducted in their presence. This process shall be completed within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
