ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents, particularly, the second respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 14.05.2025 wherein the petitioner has sought removal of the name of the temple in the patta.
2. Heard Mr.S.Selvaraj, learned counsel for petitioner, Mr.N.Naveen Kumar, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.S.Ravichandran, learned Additional Government Pleader [HR & CE] appearing for fourth respondent.
3. The case of the petitioner is that he is the exclusive owner of 2/4
the subject property, whereas, the name of the temple has been included in the patta. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner submitted a representation before the second respondent for removal of the name of the temple in the patta. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.
4. Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of fourth respondent submitted that the name of the temple has been included in the patta long back and the petitioner does not have any exclusive right over the property.
5. In the considered view of this Court, it is not necessary for this Court to deal with the inter se dispute between the petitioner and the temple. Hence, without going into the merits of the case, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to deal with the petitioner's representation dated 14.05.2025 in accordance with law after affording opportunity to the petitioner and the concerned temple and pass final orders within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
