file of the Subordinate Judge, Poonamallee, Thiruvallur District to III Additional Family Court, Chennai to be tried along with M.C.No.488 of 2025 pending on the file of III Additional Family Court, Chennai. For Petitioner : Ms.G.Rajeswari For Respondent : Mr.Y.Kajanavas C O M M O N O R D E R Both these transfer petitions have been filed seeking transfer of HMOP.No.465 of 2025, a petition for divorce filed by wife, the respondent in Tr.CMP.No.1185 of 2025 and petitioner in Tr.CMP.No.1121 of 2025 from the file of the Subordinate Court, Poonamallee to III Additional Family Court, Chennai.

2. Ms.G.Rajeswari, learned counsel takes notice for the respondent in Tr.C.M.P.No.1121 of 2025.

3. The petitioner/wife in Tr.CMP.No.1121 of 2025 seeks transfer of the case on the ground that she is now residing at Perambur, Chennai and she has no physical safety at Poonamallee. It is also stated that the petitioner in Tr.CMP.No.1121 of 2025 is having a minor child. The husband/petitioner in Tr.CMP.No.1185 of 2025 also filed similar petition seeking transfer of divorce 2/4

petition filed by wife to III Additional Family Court, Chennai. Both the parties to the litigation seek transfer of HMOP.No.465 of 2025 pending before the file of Subordinate Court, Poonamallee to the file of III Additional Family Court, Chennai.

4. Taking into consideration the convenience of the wife, this Court is inclined to allow the transfer petition filed by the wife in Tr.CMP.No.1121 of 2025. Consequently, HMOP.No.465 of 2023 is withdrawn from the file of Subordinate Court, Poonamallee and transferred to the file of the III Additional Family Court, Chennai for simultaneous hearing along with maintenance case in M.C.No.488 of 2025. Since the instant petition filed by the wife in Tr.CMP.No.1121 of 2025 is ordered, the petition filed by the husband in Tr.CMP.No.1185 of 2025 is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
