ORDER
The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 25.08.2025, for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c) r/w 20(b)(ii)(B) and 29(1) of NDPS Act in Crime No.427 of 2025, registered on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

The case of the prosecution is that on 25.08.2025 based on a secret information, the respondent police went to the spot and found that the petitioner along with other accused was in illegal possession of 1.200 kilograms of ganja for the purpose of illegal sale. Hence, this case. 3.
The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this cases and he is in judicial custody since 25.08.2025. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this Court and sought for bail to the petitioner.

The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent while opposing the bail to the petitioner, reiterated the 2/4
prosecution case and states that there are totally two accused in this case and the petitioner is arrayed as A1; that the petitioner has 12 previous cases for the major offences under Sections 302, 397 and 506(ii) of IPC; and that the investigation is pending.

Considering the facts, the previous antecedents of the petitioner and taking note of the fact that the investigation is pending, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. 6.
