ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the 2nd respondent to declare the probation of the petitioner from the date of passing the department test and to consequently, direct the respondents to promote the petitioner on a par with Junior as Live Stock Inspector Gr-1 and further, as a Senior Veterinary Live Stock supervisor with all the consequential service and monetary benefits.
2. Mr.S.Yashwanth, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents. In view of the consent expressed by the learned counsel on either side, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The case of the petitioner is that, he was initially appointed as a Junior Assistant in the Animal Husbandry Department on 06.02.1989 on compassionate ground. The petitioner was later deputed for Live Stock Inspector Training Course at District Live Stock Farm, Orathanadu and after completion of Training, the petitioner was appointed as a Live Stock Inspector Gr-II, vide proceedings dated 19.05.1999. The petitioner passed the Departmental test for declaration of probation in the post of Live Stock Inspector Grade-II on 20.12.2007. While so, the petitioner was reverted as Junior Assistant from the Post of Live Stock Inspector Grade-II, vide proceedings of the 3rd respondent dated 06.03.2012, as the petitioner has not passed the departmental test within five years from the date of joining as Live Stock Inspector Gr-II.
Thereafter, pursuant to the request made by the petitioner, he was re-appointed as Live Stock Inspector Gr-II on 01.07.2014 at Kuthabakkam Sub Centre, Poonamallee, Thiruvallur. Subsequently, the 4th respondent declared the petitioner's probation with effect from 29.12.2007.
respondent sent proposals to the 3rd respondent, who in turn forwarded the same to the 2nd respondent. In the mean time, the 4th respondent cancelled the order of declaration of probation and pay fixations orders, vide proceedings dated 01.04.2021 and ordered to remit the salary arrears paid the petitioner. Aggrieved by the said recovery order, the petitioner filed a writ petition before this court in W.P.No.10891 of 2021 and this Court had granted an order of interim stay and the said writ petition is pending. The petitioner made several representations seeking to declare his probation from the date of passing the department test and to consequently, direct the respondents to promote the petitioner as Live Stock Inspector Gr-1 and thereafter, as Senior Veterinary Live Stock supervisor with all the consequential service and monetary benefits and the last representation made by the petitioner in this regard was before the 2nd respondent on 16.04.2025. However, as the same evoked no response, the petitioner has come up with this writ petition.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, it would suffice, if this Court issues a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.04.2025 and to consequently to declare 4/7
the probation of the petitioner from 29.12.2007 in the post of Live Stock Inspector Gr-II and consequently, direct the respondents to promote the petitioner to the post of Live Stock Inspector Gr-1 and thereafter, as a Senior Veterinary Live Stock supervisor, with all the consequential service and monetary benefits.
5. Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that, appropriate orders will be passed on the petitioner's representation dated 16.04.2025 within the time stipulated by this Court.

In view of the above, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.04.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.
7. With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No 5/7
costs.
