ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking a Mandamus to direct the respondents 2 to 5 to treat the petitioner's compulsory one year bond period as completed and consequently, direct the 5th respondent to issue a relieving order to the petitioner and also to direct the 6th respondent to return the petitioner's original certificates and documents along with her post graduate degree certificate.
2. Ms.M.Sneha, learned Special Counsel (Health) takes notice on 2/7
behalf of the respondents. In view of the consent expressed by the learned counsel on either side, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The case of the petitioner is that she joined Post graduation course in M.S.(Obstetrics and Gynaecology) in the 6th respondent college during May 2019 as a non-service candidate and at the time of admission, she executed a bond for a sum of Rs.40,00,000/- with an undertaking to serve the Government for a period of two years and she also submitted her original certificates, such as MBBS Certificate, Mark sheets and Medical Council Registration certificate. The petitioner completed her PG course on 24.05.2023. However, the petitioner was not issued with any posting order for a period of four months and only on 11.10.2023, the petitioner received the compulsory bond posting order directing the petitioner to serve for a period of one year and seven months in the 5th respondent college. While so, the Government of Tamil Nadu, vide G.O.(Ms).No.351 dated 27.10.2023, reduced the compulsory bond period for PG doctors who completed in 2023, from two years to one year. In view of the above G.O. and also by taking 3/7
into account the delay of four months and eighteen days on the part of the respondents in issuing the posting order, the effective bond period to be served by the petitioner was only seven months and twelve days and the same was completed by the petitioner as early as on 24.09.2025. However, till date, the respondents have not relieved the petitioner from service and the original certificates were not returned to the petitioner, despite the several requests made by her. Hence, this writ petition.

Learned Special Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents fairly submitted that the petitioner completed the compulsory bond service period and thereby, she is entitled for return of her original documents and certificates and the petitioner will be officially relieved from service, within the time stipulated by this Court.

In view of the fair submission made by the learned Special Counsel, this Court, directs the 5th respondent to issue relieving order in favour of the petitioner and also return the original certificates and documents along with the Post Graduate Degree certificate in favour of the petitioner, within a 4/7
period of four (4) weeks from today.
