ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to issue directions to the second respondent not to harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiry. 1/4

2. The petitioners are mother and daughter respectively and the 1 st petitioner's son, one Ranjith kumar married one Logapriya and on account of some mis-understanding between them, they are living separately. While so, on 29.09.2025, the 2 nd respondent, under the pretext of the enquiry harassing the petitioners. Hence, this petition.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions submitted that CSR is pending against the petitioners and the petitioners were called for enquiry and the respondents have not harassed the petitioners.

4. In such view of the matter, it is for the investigating agency to issue appropriate notice to the petitioners under Section 35(3) of BNSS for enquiry and on such notice, the petitioners shall appear for enquiry and co-operate with the investigation. If any cognizable offence is made out, the respondents shall register the First Information Report and proceed as per law. 2/4

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
