PRAYER:- Civil Revision Petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, pleased to direct the learned District Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate, Vazhapadi, to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.55 of 2019 within a stipulated time as framed by this Court.

ORDER

(Parties are referred to in the same ranking as before the trial court) The plaintiffs have invoked the superintending jurisdiction of this Court under Article 227 of Constitution of India for disposing of O.S.No.55 of 2019 on the file of District Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate, Vazhapadi, within a stipulated time.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and perused the records. 3.The suit in question has been filed for the relief seeking to declare that the plaintiffs and defendants 1 to 3 are the legal representatives of deceased Murugan and for mandatory injunction directing the fourth respondent to issue a legal heirship certificate accordingly. This suit has been pending ever since 2019. Defendants 4 and 6 had filed their written statements. Issues have been framed on 20.09.2023. It is still pending for trial. Taking into account the fact that the suit has been unnecessarily kept pending for trial all these while, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of and direction is issued to the learned District Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate, Vazhapadi, to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.55 of 2019 within a period of eight months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. No costs. 2/4
