The petitioner has invoked the jurisdiction of this Court under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, seeking an early disposal of his petition in HMOP.No.19 of 2023, pending on the file of the Sub Court, Ranipet.

2. It is the contention of the petitioner that he has been examined as P.W.1 and marked 20 exhibits on 21.09.2024. Thereafter, the matter is being adjourned for his cross examination on 15.10.2024, 30.10.2024, 16.11.2024 and 16.12.2024. In fact on 16.11.2024 when the petitioner attended the Court he was physically attacked by the respondent. Therefore, he prays for a direction to the Trial Court to dispose of the HMOP at the earliest.

3. The notes of proceedings would indicate that there are two interlocutory applications that are pending enquiry as on 06.01.2025. 2/6

Without disposing of these two applications in which counter has also been filed, the main HMOP cannot be proceeded with.

4. Therefore, the Civil Revision Petition is allowed with a direction to the learned Sub Judge, Ranipet, to dispose of the interlocutory applications, within a period of 2 months, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Thereafter, he shall proceed to dispose of the main HMOP, within a period of 4 months there from. No costs.
