This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner dated 10.04.2024 and to issue fresh patta by showing the correct extent of the property.

Heard Mr.K.V.Sajeevkumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.R.Gokul Krishnan, learned Additional Government Pleader for Respondents 1 to 4.

The specific case of the petitioner is that the petitioner and others are entitled for an total extent of 0.43 cents as per the title document. However, the joint patta that was issued in Patta No.488 and 1479 , covers only an extent of 0.38 cents. Hence, a representation was given to rectify the extent and to issue fresh patta by showing the correct extent. Since the same was not 2/5

considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court. 4.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the 3rd respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 10.04.2024 and pass necessary orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
