3. M.Lathiff ... Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to conduct enquiry on petitioner's representation dated 20.09.2025. For Petitioner:

O R D E R

This writ petition is filed for the issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to conduct an enquiry on the petitioner's representation dated 20.09.2025.

2. The petitioner's father had originally served as Muthavalli of Jamia Pallivasal Waqf. The petitioner states that, after the demise of his father, a new set of trustees including the petitioner, was proposed to be appointed and the details were also forwarded to the authorities for recognizing them as the new set of trustees. The petitioner has given a representation on 20.09.2025, which has been received by the respondents on 22.09.2025.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the delay in considering his representation is causing undue hardship, as the Waqf remains unrepresented. The petitioner, therefore, seeks a limited relief for the disposal of his representation dated 20.09.2025. 2/5

4. The learned counsel for the 1st respondent would submit that the Board is yet to be constituted and that expeditious steps are being taken for its constitution. He would submit that the petitioner's representation would be considered and disposed of on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of the constitution of the Board.

5. Considering the above submission and the fact that the matter is of recent origin, this Court is inclined to direct the 1st respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 20.09.2025 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of the constitution of the Board. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
