ORDER
This writ petition is filed for the relief of a mandamus, directing the respondents to pay the petitioner a sum of Rs.18,200/- towards arrears of difference in Dearness Allowances for the period from March 2017 to March 2023; a sum of Rs.18,500/- towards the amount payable 2/7
under the Post Retirement Benefit Fund Scheme; a sum of Rs.4,500/- towards the IRT Contributions; the amount payable under the Family Benefit Fund Scheme, together with interest at the rate of 12% per annum and to pay the petitioner interest at the rate of 12% per annum for the belated payment of Rs.24,08,511/- towards PF and for the belated payment of Rs.2,41,566/- towards Earned Leave / Medical Leave Salary; and for the belated payment of Rs.8,83,280/- towards Earned Leave / Medical Leave Salary and for the belated payment of Rs.15,44,857/- towards Gratuity Amount.
2. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
3. The case of the petitioner is that he joined the Respondent / Transport Corporation as a Conductor on 12.08.1987 and retired on 31.03.2023. The grievance of the petitioner is that his terminal benefits have not been fully settled. Since the representation of the petitioner 3/7
dated 20.02.2025 did not evoke any response, the present writ petition has been filed seeking the aforesaid relief.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if this Court issues a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders.
5. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation of the petitioner will be considered and will pay the eligible amount with 6% interest p.a. as per the earlier orders of this Court.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court on submission made by either side counsel directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.02.2025 and pass appropriate orders and pay the eligible amount to the petitioner within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this 4/7
Order. It is made clear that the amount should carry 6% interest per annum from the date on which the amount became due and payable till the date of disbursement. If the amount is not paid within the time frame fixed by this Court, the same will carry interest at the rate of 9% per annum from the date on which the amount became due and payable till the date of disbursement.
7. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No order as to costs.
