This application has been filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by six months.

A NO. 139 of 2025 2.Heard K.J.Parthasarathy, learned counsel for the applicant and Mr.A.Maheshnath, learned counsel for the respondent. 3.It is stated that the arbitral proceedings are commenced and it is in the stage of admission and denial. I do not see any unreasonable delay on the part of the Arbitrator or the parties and the case has been made out for granting extension of the mandate of the Arbitrator. 4.In view of the above, this application is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitrator is extended by six months for completing the arbitration proceedings.
