ORDER

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 465, 468 and 471 of IPC, Crime No.162 of 2025 on the file of the respondent Police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner joined hands with the other accused by creating a bogus R.C.Book pledged the Toyota Innova Car and received a sum of Rs.5 lakhs.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that already other accused were arrested and released on bail and the petitioner is friend of arrested accused. He further submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and he prays for anticipatory bail.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police reported that the allegation levelled against both the petitioner as well as the arrested accused and the arrested accused were 2/4

released on bail on the ground that the he was in continuous incarceration. He further submitted that vehicle has not been recovered and amount was not repaid by the petitioner for releasing the vehicle which was pledged.

5. Considering the nature of the allegation that the petitioner has neither paid the loan amount to release the vehicle nor has come forward to get the vehicle and handed over to the defacto complainant, I am of the view that granting anticipatory bail will hamper the investigation and further enquiry.
