Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to pay and settle the arrears of the petitioner's professional fees as Government Pleader (Salem District) for the period from 15.07.2011 to 04.03.2021
i.e. Rs.61,24,517/- with interest as per the petitioner's representation dated 23.01.2024 and the Annexures I to IV filed in this writ petition, forthwith.

ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents 1 to 4 to consider his representation dated 23.01.2024 and to pay professional fees for his service as Government Pleader for Salem District for the period from 15.07.2011 to 04.03.2021.
2. According to the petitioner, he acted as District Government Pleader for Salem District from 15.07.2011 to 04.03.2021. It is further claimed by the petitioner that a sum of Rs.61,24,517/- is due to the petitioner towards his professional fees and the said amount has not been paid to him. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 23.01.2024 before the fourth respondent seeking payment of professional fees and the same has not been considered. Hence, he has
come before this Court.
3. Mr. V.Jeevagiridaran, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 4 would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered and final orders will be passed on its own merits, within a time fixed by this Court.
4. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this court is inclined to direct the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.01.2024 and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of . There shall be no order as to costs.
