ORDER

The Nedungulam Panchayat represented by its former President, filed this writ petition, challenging the order passed by the District Collector-cum-Chairman,in EA/plastic waste Road/2003 on 03.11.2003 with regard to the laying of roads within the jurisdiction of the writ petitioner Panchayat.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. A policy decision was taken by the second respondent, in pursuant to the directions issued by the Government and they have already implemented the scheme and laid roads. Infact the respondents themselves had implemented the said scheme for the welfare of the people of that locality.

4. Since, the impugned order relating to the welfare policy of the people, more specifically for the welfare of the people in that locality, this Court is not inclined to consider the grounds raised in this writ petition and the policy decision of the Government, cannot be questioned, by the writ petitioner, who is the former President of the Panchayat.

5. Such being the factum of the matter, no further adjudication is required in this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed. However, no order as to costs.
