ORDER

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 406 and 420 of IPC in Crime No.787 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of prosecution is that the petitioner joining with other accused and received a sum of Rs.5,50,000/- from the defacto complainant to arrange a job in the Medical Department. Hence this case. K. RAJASEKAR, J.

3. The learned counsel appearing for petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution, and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for respondent would submit that this is a case of job racketing, and the investigation is pending. However, he vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the fact that both A1 and A2 have collected money from the defacto complainant, which was recorded in the FIR, and this petitioner / A2 also acted as an impersonator claiming himself as officials, and this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
