Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.11.2024 seeking for action against the unauthorized women hostel within a limited time frame as fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.11.2024 seeking action against the unauthorized women hostel run by the second respondent in the premises belonged to the petitioner.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that a portion of her property was leased out in favour of the second respondent for the purpose of conducting coaching centre. But the second respondent indulged in running women hostel, without any permission or authorization from the competent authority. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation before the first respondent on 25.11.2024 seeking action against the unauthorized hostel run by the second respondent and the same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this court.

3. Mr. C.Kathiravan, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the first respondent would submit that the representation submitted by the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law within a time stipulated by this Court.

4. In view of the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this court is inclined to direct the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.11.2024 and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, after issuing necessary notice to the petitioner and the second respondent.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of . There shall be no order as to costs.
