O R D E R
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents 1 to 4 to initiate appropriate action against the Respondents 6 to 10 for allegedly violating the order passed by the 4th Respondent in Se.Mu.Na.Ka.No10/2024 / A4 dated 09.02.2024 by considering petitioner's representation dated 15.12.2024.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that A/m. Sri Angala Parameshwari Amman Kovil situated at Chellapillaikuttai Village, Muthunaickenpatti Post, Omalur Taluk, Salem District is a family deity of the petitioner and others who belongs to Telugu Viswakarma community people. On 12.12.2024, the above mentioned temple was locked and sealed by revenue officials due to the trouble created by the private respondents. It is asserted by the petitioner that they would abide by the resolution of the peace committee meeting dated 2/5
09.02.2024 convened by the 4th respondent. The petitioner, in the representation, sought for un-locking of the temple to facilitate the petitioner and other members of the community to have worship of deity. The said representation has not been considered by the 4th respondent till date. Therefore, the petitioner has come before this Court.
3. Mr.V.Ramesh, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 5, submits that representation submitted by the petitioner will be considered on its' own merits within a time fixed by this Court.
4. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the claim made by the petitioner, the 4th respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 15.12.2024 and pass final orders on its' own merits within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order after issuing necessary notice to the petitioner, respondents 6 to 10 and other interested parties.
5. With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No 3/5
costs.
