ORDER

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police in Crime No. not known of 2024, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that defacto complainant lodged a complaint against the petitioner stating that he was cheated by the petitioner in his business transaction. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the enquiry pertaining to this matter is freezed in O.S.No.158 of 2019 which was dismissed by the learned District Munsif Court, Poonamallee.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the respondent police submits that FIR has not been registered and enquiry is pending in this case.

5. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

5. In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to co-operate with the enquiry which is initiated by the respondent police and the respondent police is directed not to harass the petitioner and conduct enquiry by following due process of law.

6. With the above directions, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
