ORDER
This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the first respondent for non-compliance of the order dated 12.04.2024, passed by this Court in W.P.No.16507 of 2022, thereby directed the respondent to lodge a complaint with regard to the loss of original document before the jurisdictional Police Station.

The learned counsel for the first respondent submitted that as directed by this Court the respondent lodged a compliant before the Inspector of Police, R-4 Pondy Bazzar Police Station.

The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the second respondent submitted that the R-4 Pondy Bazzar Police Station is not a jurisdictional Police Station for the respondent, and as such, the complaint lodged by the respondent through online has been forwarded to the Inspector of Police, B-1, North Beach Police Station, Chennai. However, the respondent failed to annex the documents required for a non-traceable certificate as per the circular issued by the Director General of Police (DGP), Tamil Nadu.

In view of the above submission, the first respondent is directed to furnish the required documents for issuance of a non-traceable certificate to the the Inspector of Police, B-1, North Beach Police Station, Chennai, within a period of one week from today.

Upon receipt of the documents from the first respondent, the Inspector of Police, B-1, North Beach Police Station, Chennai, is directed to issue the non-traceable certificate, within two weeks thereafter. 6.
With the above directions, the Contempt Petition stands disposed of.
