This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent Police to investigate and file the final report / charge sheet within the stipulated time frame in connection with Crime No.94/2024 for the offences under Sections 420, 465, 467, 468 I.P.C., and Section 66D IT (Amendment) Act, 2008.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.
3. Considering the nature offence involved in the case, the respondent police need time to complete the investigation, this Court is not inclined to fix the time for completion of investigation. However, the respondent police is directed to expedite the investigation and file a charge sheet as early as possible.
4. With the abovesaid direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
