ORDER
Petition seeking bail in connection with Spl.S.C.No.112 of 2022 pending on the file of the learned Sessions Judge (FAC), Magalir Neethimandram (FTC), Tiruppur, in connection with Cr.No.07 of 2022, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 5(I), 5(j)(ii) and Section 6 of POCSO Act and Section 9 of Child Marriage Restraint Act r/w 1/4
Section 449 and 366 IPC, is on board for consideration.
2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is facing trial in Spl.S.C.No.112 of 2022 on the file of the learned Sessions Judge (FAC), Magalir Neethimandram (FTC), Tiruppur. He further submitted that the petitioner has been regularly appearing before the trial Court on all hearing dates, while so, due to his illness, he was unable to appear before the trial Court on 21.11.2023, thereby, a Non Bailable Warrant was issued by the trial Court, against him. He also submitted that the petitioner is ready to appear before the trial Court and and also he is ready to co-operate for speedy disposal of the trial. Hence, he prays for grant of bail to the petitioner.
3. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that it is a case of jumped bail. He also submitted that trial has been completed and now the case stands posted on 21.01.2025 for judgment. At this stage, if the petitioner is enlarged on bail, there is every possibility of the petitioner absconding and he may not be available for delivery of the judgment, and he objected for grant of bail.

4. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.
5. Taking into consideration the above facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
6. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. 09.01.2025 Anu To The Inspector Of Police All Women Police Station, Palladam, Tiruppur District.
