Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of a Writ of Certiorari, calling for the records pertaining to the Prospectus for MBBS/BDS admission for the year 2004-2005 issued by the Tamil Nadu Government and to quash the abolition of seats reserved for children of Defence Personal to the tune of 2 seats to the MBBS/BDS course for the admission in the year 2004-2005 under the category of seats reserved for children of Serving Defence Personnel issued by the Selection Committee.

The prayer sought for in this writ petition is challenging the prospectus in respect of admission to MBBS/BDS course for the academic year 2004-2005.

2. This Court, at the time of entertaining the writ petition, has not granted any interim order and on the other hand the interim application seeking for a direction to keep one seat of MBBS Course vacant was dismissed on 05.10.2004.
3. Considering the above stated facts and circumstances, I do not think that anything survives in this writ petition to be adjudicated upon further. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
