ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to give police protection to survey the lands situated at (i) Old Survey No.655/2, now sub-division New Survey No.655/2B1 Hec 1.69.50, (ii)New Survey No.654/1A2A to the extent of Hec 0.66.0 Acre (iii) New Survey No.654/2A1 Hec 0.55.50 Acre at Siruthondamadevi Village, Kadampuliyur, Sub Registrar Office, Panrutti Taluk, Cuddalore District, by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 22.11.2024.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent Nos.1 and 2 submitted that unless and until requisition is received from the Tahsildar concerned, the said exercise could not be done.

3. In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent Nos.1 and 2, the petitioner is directed to make a fresh application for survey of the aforesaid lands before the second respondent along with a requisition letter requiring the second respondent to request the first respondent Police to provide police protection. On receipt of the same, the second respondent is directed to request the first respondent Police to provide police protection if necessary and survey the aforesaid lands.

4. With the above directions, the writ petition stands disposed of . No costs.
