The bunk shop sells juice, tea, coffee, and food items using an LPG gas stove. ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by S.M. SUBRAMANIAM, J.] The writ of Mandamus has been instituted to direct the respondents to consider the representations submitted by the petitioner on 18.06.2024 and 16.12.2024 regarding grant of permission / certificate for vending at the Petitioner's bunk shop located opposite to Dasaprakash Apartment, Varadharajulu Street, Egmore, Chennai-600 008.
2. The petitioner is running a bunk shop and selling juice, tea, coffee and food items using a LPG gas stove. According to the petitioner, the respondents are attempting to remove the said bunk shop and she made representations not to remove till such time, the Vending Committee finalise the application submitted by the petitioner.
3. Since the petitioner has already submitted an application before the Vending Committee for allotment of shop, the respondents are directed to consider the representations and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
