This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to remove the petitioner's name in the Tamil Nadu Police Portal website.
2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner's name was already removed from the Tamil Nadu Police Portal website and hence, the relief sought for in this petition has become infructuous.
3. Recoding the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, no further adjudication is required in this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.
