bearing S.No.233/13A, 233/8A, S.No.233/13B and 233/8B in patta No.1933 and 182, respectively in Vazhapadi Village, Salem District along with the respondents 2 and 3 for laying boundary stone and demarcating the boundaries with barbed wire and in case any contingency or resistance to take necessary action under law based on representation given by the petitioner on 18.12.2024.

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 4 and 5 to provide appropriate police protection at the time of resurveying the petitioners lands bearing S.Nos.233/13A, 233/8A, S.No.233/13B and 233/8B in patta No.1933 and 182, respectively in Vazhapadi Village, Salem District along with the respondents 2 and 3 for laying boundary stone and demarcating the boundaries with barbed wire and in case any contingency or resistance to take necessary action under law based on representation given by the petitioner on 18.12.2024.
2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for
the respondents, on instructions, submitted that so far, there is no requisition received from the revenue authorities concerned.
3. Replying to the aforesaid submission, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that already an application in this regard has been made to the second respondent during October 2023.
4. It is also brought to the notice of this Court that the said survey is scheduled to be conducted on 03.01.2025.
5. In view of the same, the second respondent is directed to request the respondents 4 & 5 to provide appropriate police protection for conducting survey which is scheduled to be conducted on 03.01.2025, if required.
6. With the above directions, the writ petition stands disposed of . No costs.
