O R D E R

The Civil Revision Petition is filed challenging the order passed by the Principal Subordinate Judge, Chengalpattu in I.A.No.5 of 2025 in O.S.No.53 of 2017, dated 18.06.2025 dismissing the application filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to Tahsildhar, Thirukkalukundram Taluk, to produce Adangal Extract of the property in suit survey numbers.

2. The petitioner herein filed a suit for declaration of title and recovery of possession. Pending suit, the petitioner filed an application with above mentioned prayer on the ground that he applied for certified copies of the document and he was informed by the Revenue Officials that if they received summons from the Court, they would produce the same before the Court.

3. Under Rule 76 of Civil Rules of Practice, the petitioner can obtain a certificate from the court and produce it before the Revenue Officials. The petitioner has not followed the said procedure. Further, the petitioner 2/4

has not produced any document to show that he applied for certified copies and the same was produced before the court. Mere oral representation is not sufficient for maintaining this kind of application.

4. Hence, the Civil Revision Petition stands dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to follow the procedure under Rule 76 of Civil Rules of Practice. No costs. Consequently, the connected civil miscellaneous petition is closed.
