ORDER

The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 05.09.2025, for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c) r/w 20(b)(ii)(B) and 29(1) of NDPS Act and 25(1A) of Arms Act in Crime No.670 of 2025, registered on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 2.

The case of the prosecution is that based on a secret information, the respondent police went to the spot and found that the petitioner along with other accused were in illegal possession of 2.100 kilograms of ganja for the purpose of illegal sale along with knife. Hence, this case.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this cases and she is in judicial custody since 05.09.2025. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this Court and sought for bail to the petitioner.

The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing 2/4

for the respondent while opposing the bail to the petitioner, reiterated the prosecution case and stated that the petitioner has 21 previous cases including 16 cases under TNP Act, one case under COTPA, 2 cases under NDPS Act. He further submitted that the co-accused A3 and A4 are still absconding; and that the investigation is pending. 5.

Considering the facts, the previous antecedents of the petitioner, the co-accused are still absconding and taking note of the fact that the investigation is pending, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
