ORDER
The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 01.07.2025, for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c) r/w 20(b)(ii)(B), 25 and 29(1) of NDPS Act in Crime No.37 of 2025, registered on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 2.
The case of the prosecution is that on 01.07.2025 based on a secret information, the respondent police conducted raid near Bengalore to Salem Bypass Omalur Tollgate and found that the petitioner along with other accused were involved in illegal transportation of 15.500 kilograms of ganja in a lorry bearing Registration No.TN-52-P-6752 from Odhisha to Tamilnadu for their personal gain. Hence, this case. 3.
The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this cases and he is in judicial custody since 01.07.2025. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this Court and sought for bail to the petitioner.

The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent while opposing the bail to the petitioner, reiterated the prosecution case and states that there are totally two accused in this case and the petitioner is arrayed as A1; that the petitioner has 3 previous cases including one case under NDPS; and that the investigation is pending. 5.
Considering the facts, the previous antecedents of the petitioner, the quantity of contraband involved in this case and taking note of the fact that the investigation is pending, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
