ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking a writ of mandamus, to direct the 1st respondent Commissioner of Police, to conduct enquiry and pass appropriate orders on the representation given by the petitioner on 15.09.2025.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner association had given a representation dated 29.03.2025, to the Commissioner of Police, the 1st respondent for protecting a community hall; since the representation was not considered, the petitioner had earlier approached 2/6

this Court in W.P.(Crl).No.764 of 2025, seeking a writ of mandamus; when the matter had come up, since it was represented by the learned Government Advocate for the respondent that the representation of the petitioner was closed, this Court had disposed of the writ petition, directing the petitioner to work out their remedy in the manner known to law.

3. It is the further case of the petitioner that they had once again approached the 1st respondent and given a representation dated 15.09.2025, seeking to reopen the earlier complaint; since it has not been considered, the petitioner has approached this Court.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the 1st respondent would submit that the petitioner has now preferred a fresh representation dated 15.09.2025, pursuant to which, summons has been issued to the petitioner to furnish relevant documents and an enquiry is pending.

In view of the aforesaid submission, without going into the merits of the case, a direction is issued to the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 15.09.2025, on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
