ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by P.Velmurugan J.) The present habeas corpus petition has been filed by the father of the detenue seeking for a direction to the respondents to produce her daughter Minor.Thivisha, aged about 17 years, born on 31.08.2008 before this Hon'ble Court and hand over her custody to the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents.

3. Pursuant to the order dated 02.01.2026, Mrs.Rathnamma, W/o Rajkumar, the Hostel Warden attached to the Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Shoolagiri appeared before this Court and stated that they are ready to take back the detenue in the hostel attached to the school to pursue her 12th Standard and complete the same in the current academic year 2025-26.

4. The detenue was also produced by the second respondent and she also stated that she will pursue her 12th Standard in the Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Shoolagiri in this academic year by staying in the attached hostel, instead of staying in the Home.

5. Recording the above submissions, this habeas corpus petition stands closed.
