Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to dispose of petitioner's online application No.2025/0123/05/013798 dated 19.08.2025, to survey and mark the boundaries for petitioner's lands in survey No. 729/2 of an extent of 0.99 Ares situated at Erranahalliu Village, Palacode (Tk), Dharmapuri District, within a stipulated time as fixed by this Court on merits. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 3 and 4 to deal with the online application submitted by the petitioner on 19.08.2025 wherein the petitioner is seeking survey of the subject property and marking of boundaries.

2. Heard Mr.Krishnasamy Chinnasamy, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.P.Ganesan, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents.

3. The case of the petitioner is that the property was purchased through a sale deed dated 13.03.2023 registered as document No.954 of 2023. A joint patta has also been issued in Patta No.3843. The petitioner submitted an online application on 19.08.2025 by paying necessary charges to conduct survey in the subject property and to mark the boundary stones. Since the same was not acted upon, a representation dated 28.08.2025 was made to the respondent and the same also did not evoke any response. It is under these circumstances, the present writ 2/4

petition has been filed.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the respondents 3 and 4 to act upon the petitioner's online application dated 19.08.2025 and conduct survey in the subject property based on the title document and the joint patta that has already been issued. If there are any other interested parties, such survey shall be conducted in their presence. The said process shall be completed within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
