O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by N. SATHISH KUMAR, J.) This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 26.08.2025 and also to direct the respondents to produce the petitioner's husband Yuvaraj S/o.Haridoss, aged 45 years, PID No.24529, now confined in the Central Prison-I, Puzhal, Chennai before the Medical Board for his premature release.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner's husband is a life convict and is suffering from various ailments and also had a stroke in the year 2020 and despite taking various treatment, the condition is deteriorating due to imprisonment and as per Rule 632 of Tamil Nadu Prisons Rules, 2024, he is eligible for premature release in view of his

medical grounds. The learned counsel for petitioner submits that the petitioner has also sent a representation to the respondents and seeks for a direction to the respondents to consider the representation in this regard.

3. In view of the limited prayer sought for in this writ petition, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 26.08.2025 on it own merits and pass appropriate orders as expeditiously as possible. There shall be no order as to costs.
